A game day charcuterie board featuring warm pretzel bites, cheese sauce, meats, cheeses, and fresh elements that brings people together for snacking during the big game.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 bag (16 ounces) frozen pretzel bites
  • 8 ounces sharp cheddar cheese, block
  • 8 ounces pepper jack cheese, block
  • 8 ounces salami, sliced
  • 4 ounces prosciutto, thinly sliced
  • 4 ounces pepperoni, sliced
  • 8 ounces cheese sauce, jarred or homemade
  • 1/4 cup spicy mustard
  • 1 cup red or green grapes, seedless
  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes
  • 1/2 cup dill pickle slices
  • 1/2 cup mixed salted nuts
  • 1/2 cup dark chocolate pieces

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Spread frozen pretzel bites on a parchment-lined baking sheet, not overcrowded.
  2. Bake pretzel bites for 8-10 minutes until golden brown and heated through, flipping halfway if desired.
  3. While pretzels bake, cut sharp cheddar and pepper jack into thin slices or small cubes.
  4. Arrange meats: fold salami slices in half or roll into cylinders; drape prosciutto in loose folds; scatter pepperoni nearby.
  5. Spoon cheese sauce into a small bowl and spicy mustard into another small bowl; place on board.
  6. Scatter grapes in clusters, cherry tomatoes in a pile, and pickle slices near the meats.
  7. Sprinkle mixed nuts in empty spaces; add chocolate pieces last, away from warm pretzels.
  8. Let baked pretzel bites cool for 2 minutes, then transfer to a bowl or arrange on board near cheese sauce.
  9. Fill any empty spaces with extra nuts, grapes, or cheese pieces for an abundant look.
  10. Serve immediately while pretzel bites are warm, with small plates and napkins.

Notes

Warm cheese sauce before serving. Toast nuts for extra flavor. Don’t put everything out at once for long games; keep extra pretzel bites warm. Use a variety of textures. Label dips if desired. Make cheese sauce from scratch if time allows.
