Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 ounces sharp cheddar cheese, cut into cubes
  • 8 ounces brie cheese
  • 6 ounces salami, sliced thin
  • 4 ounces prosciutto, torn into strips
  • 1 cup mixed olives (black and green)
  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes
  • 1/2 cup candy eyeballs
  • 1/2 cup gummy worms
  • 1/2 cup candy corn
  • 1/2 cup pretzel sticks
  • 1/4 cup pumpkin seeds, roasted and salted
  • 1 box water crackers
  • 1 box pretzel crisps
  • 1 baguette, sliced thin and lightly toasted
  • 1 cup grapes, red or green
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1/4 cup dark chocolate chips
  • Fresh rosemary sprigs

Instructions

  1. Start with your largest items first. Place the brie wheel off-center on your board. Arrange the cheddar cubes in a small cluster near the center-right.
  2. Add the meats. Fold the salami slices into quarters and fan them out near the cheddar. Tear the prosciutto into rough strips and drape them loosely.
  3. Place your small bowls. Fill them with olives, candy eyeballs, gummy worms, and pumpkin seeds. Position them around the board so there’s a bowl within reach from every angle.
  4. Fill in the gaps with crackers. Arrange the water crackers in a fan pattern near the brie. Stack the pretzel crisps in a small pile opposite the crackers. Lay the baguette slices in a single layer along one edge of the board.
  5. Add the produce. Scatter cherry tomatoes and grapes in the empty spaces.
  6. Create your monster faces. Arrange pretzel sticks to look like spider legs coming out from under the brie. Use candy eyeballs to make ‘monsters’ on the cheese cubes. Arrange gummy worms to look like they’re crawling out of the olive bowl.
  7. Drizzle and finish. Warm the honey for 10 seconds in the microwave, then drizzle it over the brie. Scatter dark chocolate chips and candy corn in the remaining empty spots. Tuck rosemary sprigs around the edges for color.
  8. Final check. Step back and look at your board. Fill any big empty spaces with extra grapes or crackers. Move things around until it feels balanced.

Notes

Let brie sit at room temperature for 20 minutes before starting. Don’t overcrowd the board—leave about an inch of space between clusters. Build in layers: start with big items, then medium, then small. Use the ‘grab test’ to ensure everything is reachable. Prep all ingredients before arranging.
